  Old  Online authorities?

For a while now i was interested in this. Are there any internet authorities that protect you? For example if you get ripped, and you can proove that you are the creator of a particular art piece certain measures will be taken. or anything of that kind? I'm pretty sure i heared one of my friends say that he was going to report a ripper to some organization, but that was long time a go. Thanks for any help.

You have no backup in court without a federal copyright... costs about $30 to get :P

Yeah, that is the sad thing. Designers have to pay $30 for a copyright, or any ripper can just take it and no1 can take them to court. If you have proof or not. Really a little silly thing in the states .
