Some good entries guys but please remember that this needs to blend in with a design, this is not an advertisement. So things getting cut off etc in your entries wouldn't implement in the design well.
I would suggest you get a better banner size then.. kinda hard to make it all fit, when we have so little space to work with, you want game characters in ur banner but you dont want it to look like an ad? Then as I said make it bigger, otherwise this is the best you get.
Exactly what I'm thinking - because 70px height for a logo doesn't leave much room for anything other than a basic text format IMO. One thing you might consider is upping the amount of award money and have the winner actually edit your template css to include a larger design perhaps.
