Please elaborate on what you meen by "retro"
I have a rough idea, just need mor einfo.

Do you meen, like solid colours, that look like, torn, and tattered ?
Its basicaly just shapes I think, least thats how I do it.

I doubt your going to find a tut on that tbh, I sugest using stock images, or just experiementin with layer settings, and the burn/dodge tool.

Ditto,it is based in the old papers as said before and also, atleast what i've tried, some well-executed brushing like grunge and like dirty appearance.

Playing around in photshop alone can lead to some cool ideas. I started a small project last year that was never finished but to my surprise it was actually listed in a couple of design sites under a collage category. I'll warn you that the page is huge and I didn't care when making it. I was shooting for a unique look.

Just about evverything on that page was created in photoshop with stock images from istockphoto.com

Sometimes you just need to site down and plug away at trying to create what's in your head.

Can't you learn from looking at the designs you showed us. Practice! Practice! Practice, until you get it and then you deviate into your own true style.

Tutuorials on such things can never beat trial and error.
