 Alienware
I've ordered an Alienware notebook and I'm just wondering what your thoughts are about Alienware themselves. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Alienware = Best gaming notebook's around, period. They're a bit chunky, but they know how to stay cool, play crysis on high settings and they're quite silentish.
That's what I'm struggling between, Macbook air or Alienware, it's like saying:
Mac------------Alienware
Supermodel or fatass
weak geek or muscles

Well alienware are very very good gaming machines, you really can't order a pre built gaming computer or laptop any better built for gaming than an alienware, only way you will beat their systems are to custom build them your self.

Solid choice. A good company making good machines. They're owned by Dell, but fortunately don't follow Dell's horrible support. If I didn't decide to recently switch over my systems to Macs, I would have gone the Alienware direction.

Useless, you can get a computer just as good maybe even a better one that is custom for less, they are too expensive for the junk they have. I have purchased a notebook from them before and hated it. Couldn't handle all the games i wanted to play..

I've maxed almost everything out for the laptop, so it is top spec. I'm only going to be playing a few games, like css, u3, cod4(maybe), nothing intense. But mostly for my web stuff.
I like to run alot of things at once, hopefully i made the right choice. Only problem i'm seeing though is the amount of time it takes to build/ship. Fingers crossed its worth the wait.
*EDIT @Randy: I'm only going for a laptop anyway, so i can take it places. If i was going for a desktop i'd custom build it without a doubt.

I bought an Alienware last year, waited for it to ship. Played with it for a week, returned it with a 15% restocking fee then bought a Macbook Pro

I don't like Pepsi, and Yum Foods, Inc is a Public and subsidiary of PepsiCo, which by your logic: A&W Restaurants = KFC = Pizza Hut = Taco Bell...etc.
I don't like KFC, so I guess it automatically means I won't like Taco Bell...right?
