Wildhoney: I'm getting two eventually, but I just need a system that works for games at the moment so I can start playing again. I'm seeing if I can find a cheaper SLI one though.

Edit: Found a nice 600w (still a lot, but I'd like to buy one that could last me a while if I ever upgrade again soon) COOLERMASTER for about $60-70, so I'll update that in the spreadsheet. Also looking at other motherboards.
I highly recommend the 580W Hiper Modular Type R for your PSU. You can switch the cables like you wanted, and it's one of the quiestest, coolest PSUs on the market. Great performance + it's slightly cheaper than the one on your list

It's nice, but the connections alone would take up a lot of space, and I've picked out a PSU for $79 which is just fine for my purposes.

Good stuff, can you update the list so we can see what it looks like now?

Be sure to check out http://tigerdirect.com . Noticed you were using newegg. Both are good, however I usually buy from tigerdirect. They have a lot of great deals.

Well, I've used newegg before and loved it. I also already have an account there too. Prices are generally better on newegg too.
