Old  Mac Fantastic, Graphics Software Lacking

I have finally splashed out the cash for an iMac. I've spent the past 6 or 7 months developing cross platform from my Windows onto my MacBook. It hasn't really provided any benefit apart from proving to me just how much better Mac OS is than Windows.

So now with the introduction of my new iMac my web developing life seems perfect. However as most of you will know that thing that hinders the life of a Mac user is getting the software. I have splashed out a bit of cash on some Panic software such as Transmit and Coda, these are perfect for the job in hand. One thing has been missed out which is graphical, I've given GIMP a try but it just doesn't seem to fit my way of working with graphics.

So does anyone have any recommend software for designing high quality graphics. If you could provide me with a link to the creators website that would be perfect.

Pixelmator is lacking alot of features, and if you can go for photoshop anyday.

But if you cant afford it pixelmator should suffice. It may be as ive always used photoshop.

Well I used the Adobe CS3 on my Windows, however the transfer to Mac allows me to try out a wider variety of things in the web developing world. As a lot of companies in that area develop for what they use, which are Macs.

I will more than likely install the Master CS3 onto my iMac since I've removed it from my Windows. Just interested to find other options now that I have moved to a better platform.
