Forum Skin WIP :)
Hey all
Just finished the first version of this skin im working so thought i would post it up to get your ideas/thoughts - Oh and yes, before anyone mentions it, it is green and blue but i dont think it looks like TalkFreelance (TF is much better ofcourse )
Anyway let me know what you think, at the moment im a little unsure about the header and nav bar mainly so any thoughts on that would be very appretiated. Also im not too keen on the new post icons so i'll probably end up changing them.
if you can't see the image click here

Looks like a nice skin Bazza, I'm not too sure about the colours though! They don't really go too well together and they seem awfully bright on my eyes. The logo is very typical and there are alot of common trends running throughout the skin. The text is quite hard to read in the "who's online" box as well.
However, with that being said, you can easily sell this for a couple hundred bucks on webhostingtalk or namepros, no doubt.
I'd like to see a different colour scheme though!

Thanks Robson
I'll work a bit on the colours make it a little less bright, im thinking all the blue links in the forum are a little too much. I was going to go for a different colour scheme this time around but, if im honest, the reason i chose green and blue like that is because, like you said, it should be easy enough to sell and i've got a long summer coming up so selling at the moment is high on my list of things to do hehe
Cheers again m8 will work on those colours and try fix up a better logo

Great work bazza, I love the rich blue you've used on the footer/header. I think it would look nice if both colours weren’t so vibrant and bright, maybe keep the blue but make the green a little duller?
Overall it’s a great start. I am sure it will be a work of art when it is finished!

The only problem I have with it is it looks a bit too crowded, especially the sidebar.

The colours seem a bit too light, make make the green bolder?

Is the talkfreelance banner thing gonna be where advertising is?
If so then I think it's far too much.
Tone down the ads and make more emphasis on the site itself.
