random thoughts -

the color scheme is similar to the old site, thus, sort of making the entire site look like the old one. sort of.

i like how you slanted the logo a bit.

i like how your search bar is large and it attracts attention immediately. however, i'm not sure if it should go above the logo. maybe to the right of the logo.

i think there needs to be a little more space between the logo/banner and the first line of text.

i'm not sure if the 2nd paragraph of text contrasts enough with the background.

lastly, are there going to be any elements on the right side of the site? there just seems to be a space empty on the right as the header banner stretches beyond the text you have so far.

overall it looks clean and easy to use. keep up the good work!

Thanks for the decent feedback, mate.

This is just a work-in-progress, so i'll update the picture every time I make any major changes or updates. I'm glad you like the style.

The only real changes since that image have been a bit of a rearrangement with the modules, a more colourful bright background, and a background texture. I'll update it tonight, and i'd appreciate a little more feedback!
