  Old  Logo Price

Maybe this topic should go into marketplace but since I'm still not looking for services I think here will be fine. How much would you charge for a logo? I need a logo for outdoor/survival gear store and logo should include related items/motifs. I'm just interested in the price and how many revisions (if I'm not satisfied with the first version) will I get for it?

You'll be able to get "a logo" for $10 if you're not at all fussed about the quality. Then again, if you multiply that value by 100 then you're starting to get into the price bracket of quality service which is really what you are looking for (because, lets face it you aren't just looking for a logo... are you?). Then again, I'm sure there are folks here who would never, ever, dream of spending more than a couple of cups of coffee on a logo.

Yeah, that's awesome. I love the tagline: drawing bad logos for beer money since 2010. Anyway, you can even get cheaper logos by creating them yourself using The Logo Creator.

Well, whenever I need logo I'm not looking for a $10 doodle because I could do that myself. I'm thinking of at least $100 all the way up to $300.

Hey,

For a quality logo you are looking at between $120 - $400 USD

Thanks guys for the offers, I will look at your sites and get back to you. I have a lot of things going on at the moment and a lot of portfolios to inspect before getting into any hiring.

FreeStylencer,

If you're interested in revisions, I'd recommend that you just pay the designer an hourly fee. Each designer usually has their own hourly fee set in mind, so let them tell you what it is. If you feel like it's too high, try to make a compromise.

This way, they will design your logo and you'll already know how much it cost you to get them to that point. If you're not satisfied with it, tell them you want X number of revisions (however many you want) and let them work on them. They'll be doing the revisions while they're on the clock, so by the time that's finished you'll know how much you need to pay them for that.

I'd recommend paying for it all at the completion of the project if revisions need to be made, as you wouldn't want to pay for a design that just needs to be fixed anyway. That wouldn't make much sense.
