Old  How do I sell a website?

I hope this is the right section to post this.

I have a website that I want to sell and I'm not sure how to go about selling it.

The domain is registered with A Small orange, and the website is hosted there along with 2 of my other websites.

How do I transfer the domain (I think I can transfer it to my namecheap acount for 8 dollars and then free push into another namecheap account..)

How do I transfer the website content/databases?

What do I do if a problem arises and I transfer the domain and website, but they say they can't get it to load, or the databases dont work or something? What protection do we both have?

As I said above sorry if this is the wrong catergory, but I couldn't find one more fitting.

1. Transfering the Databases
- Basically, they tell you their server information and you install the databases yourself, or upload a db backup onto their server.

2. Website Content
- Samething basically, they give you their server information and you then upload what is needed to their server. On the other hand you can maybe zip the files and send it to him/her over EMAIL or another messenger.

3. Problem Arises
- Thats just up to you, how you will go about fixing that.

4. Domain Transfer
- Yeah, namecheap allows free domain pushes. Just have to find out if your registrar will transfer the domain to namecheap.

Thanks
Being a sort of noob I'm not sure if I could install the db's myself on their account.

When I do a backup I get backuped sql files, is it these that need installing?

many thanks
