Old  Need helping finding a good dedicated server

I'm probably going to be needing a dedicated server (or virtual dedicated is fine) for a couple of proxy sites I'm going to be started. Can anyone help point me to a good company to purchase one from. I've been thinking of purchasing one from GoDaddy.com but I'm not quite sure yet.
I'm looking for more bandwidth use than disk space.

Thanks

Why not use shared hosting until your site makes enought money to fund a dedicated server?

That's what I'm doing right now for the one I got but I plan on launching multiple ones soon and I doubt any hosts would allow me to host them all on there server.
Also I'm just trying to get a general idea of how much I'll have to pay monthly for it so I can plan for it.

Most shared hosts do not allow to run any proxy...

Some places that provide cheap dedicated are : LayeredTech, NetDepot, SoftLayer, 15minuteservers (Nac), HiVelocity etc.

Yea I got lucky and found a shared host that would allow me so I don't want to screw them and run multiple proxys.
But I'll be sure to check out the companies you suggested.

Don't use GoDaddy for hosting, especially if you intend on running proxies.

You can try www.layeredtech.com they're completley unmanaged dedicated servers however.
But www.platinumservermanagement.com can do managing for you at $29.00 a month, quite cheap for what you get.

It should be fine to start off, all depends on the site's traffic I presume. The tech support is second to none and will assist you if you feel you need to upgrade at any time
