It looks pretty nice, but I think I prefer the xp theme.....the greens/blacks seem abit too ugly for me. I think they have overdone it with the dropshadow on the text as well. Looking more like a mac with every release!

I'm still quite astounded that they're calling it "Vista"...."Longhorn" was a bad enough name...

Anyway, the question is, is it any good?? (ie performance, usability etc).

yeah the drop shadows are a bit overdone.

and like Robson said, it's starting to look more like a Mac UI with each new OS...in addition to the Linux-like features.

Mac+Linux users have probably been enjoying these "new" features for a while now.
anyway, it's good that they're updating their OS.
