  Old  Portfolio CMS suggestions.

I am currently coding a easy to use Porfolio CMS with all the features a designer would need to show off his work without learning any coding.

Give me some features you would like to see. I currently have the Basic CSS design that is easly editable. I have a blog like system for your main page and I am working on a gallery with easy customization like catagories, thumbnail size and placement, and lots more.

Please give me some suggestions.

Hmm... All of the Portfolio scripts seem really outdated or have a lack of features. And they don't even have a design really.
I saw one with an ok Admin Panel which is the hardest part but it was still simple.

I am trying to go simple in management but I want the option for many features.

Thanks,
Flash-matic

Well an easy upload system where you can put a brief description and thumbnail etc. A contact form...things like that.

It would need:

Maybe some news? Just headlines.

Thumbnails.

xhtml / css compliant.

Nice and simple.

Easy to modificate.

Categories for the work.

That's PHP + Flash, if I remember correctly It's a great script, too.

The Flash gallery script is called ImageVue. It only requires PHP. You'll also need the GD2 extension if you want the script to automatically create thumbnails for you. The admin panel is even Flash... pretty cool. I've played with ImageVue and it's a great script.
