Old  What is classed as "developed"?

We all hear about developed domains, but what do you think actually qualifies as being a developed domain? Is it the traffic it recieves, the length of time the domain has been active, the website and content it provides? I think alot of people tend to purchase domains and advertise them for a few weeks and then attempt to sell them as developed websites, when really imo they're not. What is your opinion on what constitutes a developed domain?

I would say a domain that has decent and consistant amount of traffic, with a website that actually has content and has previously been advertised (or preforms well in search engines) is a developed one. A site that simply has a splash page and a few hits coming to it, most likely from unreliable sources, is not a developed domain. . . but maybe im too picky

A developed domain in my opinion would be where if it was brought the new owner could walk straight into that business and sell the product, so basically the 'developed' domain would have to have everything neccessary for a new owner to walk straight into the business and continue it.

I would say a developed domain is a domain with over 10 content rich pages, a domain that has been active for at least one month, has some traffic, and most importantly, shows that the webmaster spent more than 10 minutes making the site. Thats my definition,

Tom
