  Old  Fav Linux Distribution

Hopefully this is the right forum, I was thinking it didn't really fit into any specific freelancer forum.

Now I know there isn't alot of Linux users here but according to the forum's statistics there are some out there. I am getting my new system next week and I am thinking of putting Linux on one partition and Windows on the other.

The only linux distribution I have played with is RedHat Linux 8. I think the new RedHat is not free but there is another project run by RedHat called Fedora that I was thinking of using.

I know there are heaps of others around. Whats your favourite and why?

I like GNOME and Knoppix. Easy to use. And nice desktop replacement.

Mandrake is very good for new users. I have been using Debian for a while and it is just great. Both are totally free, and active projects.

Fedora is nice, my dad has to use it for a clients server, and it seems pretty nice! Except I am having problems putting images from that computer onto a flopy.

Fedora Core 3. Simple, easy to work with, very stable, nice interface.
