Is it? They make it sound like every time somone buys something, they email or call them to confirm and such... That's why I haven't tried them yet.

Never had this happen with any of my clients..
PayPal is my first choice, then 2checkout or personal/business cheque.

iv'e gone with moneybookers, i think its much easier than paypal, and less fees
looking good so far!
the best thing is, that people don't have to be registered to recive money, and registration is very simple, and withrawl is much easier/faster than paypal!

Escrow, Western Union are popular from what I hear, but I haven't used either.

2checkout is pretty good, especially if you do not have a secure server. The pros of 2checkout are that it doesn't cost too much to sign up and they have phenomenal fraud prevention, if that ever becomes a problem. The cons to 2CO include their high rates for each individual payment and the physical separation from your website. Even though Paypal is also physically separated, people recognize the PayPal name and trust it. However, when they see a 2CO checkout page, reactions can differ, depending on the person.
