Appears like you are on vacation
Really sucks for you rsek! I've done work with him before but never had any problems. Guess I've been lucky so far with him! But I won't be doing any business with him anymore, dont want to get burned. Waiting as long as you have is very very bad treatment of a customer. So, he is remodeling his house? Lousy excuse, he should of had the work done before. He should contact his clients first before updating his flickr account. Looks like he doesnt give a damn about his clients!
Really hope you get your problem sorted!

Exactly! Now, I'm not saying I'm the most client-friendly guy but what chris is doing is very very bad!

For 6 months? In the time hes displayed other work he's been working on for other clients, sorry but I think this 'personal problem' excuse is being used way too much by freelancers.

Agreed. I've had delays of around a week because we lost Internet and power from a winter storm. But months, that's unacceptable. Regardless of the situation. Not that I'm being insensitive, but at least advise your clients to find someone else instead of leaving them hanging. Or, post a message on your site with a brief note on the delays.
