Coming from a 7 year forum veteran I think images should be out.
The other large professional forums don't allow images in signatures, that's what avatars are for. It just makes forums look like noob forums full of clanning gamerz.
No images give a more professional look to the whole forum experience.

Actually, its 18 to 12, you shouldn't count the don't care's as yes's...

I'm counting them as "Yes" because i'm thinking about the proportion of people who would be annoyed/angry and even possibly leave the forum if we didn't allow images in sigs....18 wouldn't be annoyed, 12 would be happy and 4 wouldn't care.

Cool as Robson, but please be tight on moderating the sigs so it doesn't get out of hand (if the Yay's win the poll). I know you will be more than fair.

I don't mind small button-sized images, such as those "Get Firefox" ones you see, etc.
Big, full-blown banner sized images though.. Noo way.
Just have some dimension restriction.
