 VB SKIN - nintendoforums [Concept]

Check it out. As of now I'm just done with the header. The skin is being made for nintendoforums.com. They wanted a modern look to the site, but with still trying to incompass all nintendo fans.
I decided to stick with nintendos original/main characters for a more general them. I also stuck with a clean, smoother, modern look so it looks up to date for upcoming items such as the wii. However, the header was inspired from the original NES system (a nice big grey block pretty much  ).
Let me know what you guys think so far...

it's great, but please, fix the stroke around "forums"... if you do it will be fantastic.

I like the style, But like Robson said, its immense! Maybe make it a bit smaller, not sure if people with an 800*600 reolution will even be able to see the beginning of the forum categories without having to scroll first.

alright, I'll probably size it down a bit. However without the banner ad it's only takes up about 25px more than the main header on TF ...

looking good, but I suggest scooting mario and luigi down a bit, so maybe only luigi's fist is above the header. also, I suggest maybe incorporating an old school NES controller into the 'nintendoforums' text.
