Well, the law of gambling says. You have to be over 21 in the states, over 18 here. I'm sure you can register on alot of sites but technically you'd be breaking the law, i'm sure.

You just made me think, I'm deffinetly gonna look into laws and ask around before I get myself too deep into this.
I guess I would be safe if everything is under my mom's name and I just admin? Lol, now I gotta do research.
Good luck with your plans though Robson

Well for my new site (coming soon) that includes a forum, I've put over $1500 into that to get it at a reasonable level

I dont think theres any perticular law in the US or UK which says you cannot participate in a gambling online forum. If he isnt actually gambling himself then there is no law being broken, discussion of gambling is certainly not illegal. Even running a gambling forum if your under 18 isnt legal, as long as you yourself dont gamble or provide gambling services.

How about taking money from online casinos for advertising? It's probably not a law in itself, but it's not exactly morally correct, a 15 year old kid running a poker forum.

Not that sure Robson. But I would leave $500-750 I think at the least.

You could easily start up a forum without paying a penny, the thing is, it wouldn't do very well. If you were working on a minimal, but available, budget, I would say...
$3 a month for hosting = $36 a year
1 year VB license = $85
Ads/Contest (you need to have ads and you should have a contest): $50 (that's the minimum for what I suggest)
For a grand total of about $171 for the first year. Until you start making a bit of extra money, I suggest you stay away from buying a custom VB skin. Some free skins can be good enough.
