By far the biggest scam of the year has to go to stormpay.com They robbed millions from over 300,000 people by zeroing and closing accounts after they got their fill from the autosurf industry and decided they didnt want to continue transacting!

VGKig to be honest with you, if i was a scammer I would quite scamming people if most of my victims talk on chat like that. Seriously you posted HELLO!! like twice everysecond?

I have never been scammed before... except from Dell computers. :S

The thing about many scams is that the person pays $xxx amount then the scammer needs some more money. The person has already payed $xxx and feels the need to keep on going etc.

Your first thought should be "Is this legit", Second thought: "VBulletin should be notified of the change of owners".

It's your fault for paying for it without the confirmation from VBulletin. End of story, don't get mad at Robson (who is an admin and deserves at least some respect, come on buddy), it was your mistake. Take note and move on.

I've encountered all except no.1. I find them so damn funny. It's like a lame attempt to scam me.

My favourite one is the paypal one asking me to for my password because someone was trying to logging and they're asking me to reset it. I love that one. It's such a resonable attempt except for the fact that they didn't mirror paypal's site well. And paypal would never have an IP as their domain. In addition to that, paypal wouldn't ask for such information without using https.

That's really a scam for people not familiar with the internet. However, I keep an open mind because I wouldn't want to get caught because I'm naive.

Guys, you won't BELIEVE how many people fall for phishing emails. I had people push their domains to me on TDNAM.com before I even paid - their system is the easiest one to scam from IMO. All they do is send you an email saying that the money was sent by the buyer - which offers no tracking except if you call by phone. So be aware.
