Adobe creative suite 2, anyone?

Hey guys, I was just reading up on Adobe creative suite 2 on their website. Has anyone see this yet? Anyone purchased it or going to? It looks pretty good. The new features are listed here http://www.adobe.com/products/creati...wfeatures.html

Expletive mania! That is one expensive bit of kit.

It looks really neat. I think some of those features are really creative.

Not for me though. I dont think I'd ever need software as powerful as that. x.x

I purchaced the creative suite pro (one with after effects etc.) like a month before the 2nd one came out

THe new one is really nice though, some freinds jsut got it and it really nice! Love the vanishingpoint tool, where you can make 3d grids in photoshop .

Crap, I just got Adobe Creative Suite 1, I have better be getting a free update.

Where does a 15 year old get enough money to purchase Adobe Creative Suit...? And why would you have any reason too? (btw, as for me I have more than enough, but not exactly what I want to spend it on) As for me, I will be aquiring this software shortly...

I mean most 15 year olds, myself inclusive are reluctant to spend 1200 on a piece of software which will in the long run not be profitable for them...I spend my money on hardware and clothes and things of that nature.

Well I would think, if you dont see it being profitable in the future, why in the hell would you spend a good $1200 on the software? You would have to be out of your mind to just go and spend that money to mess around with it.

I would venture to say that many buyers of the Creative Suite 2 Application are planning to profit off what the program offers and allows you to do/create.

Just my two cents...

Thats about £600, I guess you could have it as your birthday presents and xmas and money towards it. Or if you have a job most 15 year olds can get it, I could. Most will get an unlicenced version though, I guess its ok aslong as you only use it to play around with and dont sell anything you create with it.

I stuck with Paint Shop Pro for a mere £60, and I beleive I can make profit out of that. So I'm fine with that.
