A 15" Macbook Pro isn't to big... I carry mine with me to uni, have it on my back for hours at a time every day and I don't have any issues with it. I can't imagine having anything smaller than 15". In fact I find myself needing more screen space to get my work done; a high res 17" MBP would be perfect
