Both entries appear more 'techy' rather than 'pro'. To me pro would be simplicity and creativity mixed, and providing good content. A game site, if thats what it is, cannot be classed as 'pro' in the same context.
Nice starts, and im sure, with work would be very nice, the second is the better imo. Personally the first one, seems cartoonish, its the font used and the blue colour that does it. the header on the second template is definently a vast improvement on the original.
Good luck Regards Stillt

Hello 3gg1,
The header needs much imporvement because of a lot of brushes used which made it look really busy and unprofessional.
Secondly The content boxes for latest news, latest matches and etc doesnt look nice whereas you need to select more attractive fonts.
I would rate it 6.5/10 and it needs lot of improvement to make it a "PRO" style. Please read my signature if you become angry of my review on your design.
Regards,
Muhammad Haris

i wouldnt consider it "professional" as Ethonic said, headers are waay to busy.
and the effects used on the latest news, latest mathces, etc are very un professional and look noobish.
i rate 3/10

For 13 though, it's not bad. Sure it's not "pro" like he said in the title but he's learning (aren't we all?)
Anyway my only adive to you would be to use your own creativity, make what YOU want. Don't follow every 'trend' thats the worst thing new designers can ever do. Also a few tips; small text IS bad, too many content boxes close up kills flow, abstract headers usually don't look too good and use colour. Grey really doesn't look very nice.
Good luck!
