I've gotten a couple people in with this link, but they were already in my circles so I don't know if it'll work for anyone outside of my circles:
Google+ Invite
If that doesn't work, then post your email address so I can add you.
Edit: From what I can tell, the only way that I can invite people is by adding them to a circle and then posting something to the stream of that particular circle. Those people that don't have Google+ and are in that circle will get an email linking them to my post and you should be able to get in through that.

That's how I've been trying to invite people and it's been working, but for some reason not everyone is getting the emails. You should be getting an email soon Art, as well as anyone else who posted their email.

That's too kind of you, Joe. I received the email, but when you click "Join Google+", it still makes it unavailable for actual sign up yet.
The message in the footer of an email says: "The Google+ project is currently working out all the kinks with a small group of testers. If you're not able to access Google+, please check back again soon."
I guess the rest of us will just have to wait until they open doors to more private/public sign-ups. I believe, however, that those who were sent these emails will hold at least some priority versus those that have no one to connect to at this time.

Yeah I got three people in today using that same method, so I guess just try clicking that link as often as you can throughout the day.

24 hours later and I am now a part of Google+. First impression: a-ma-zing. The navigation, the concept of circles, the notification system is very intuitive. Not used to +1-ing things yet, but I am sure will get comfy with time.
Would be happy to invite you, but I believe you might need a Gmail account. I am not sure as the information is still very conflicting.
If you are a regular/established member of this community (no 1-time posters, no "I-just-signed-up-to-get-my-invite" crowd) either PM me your gmail account or post it below.
If I add you, you are supposed to receive an email with information and link in it. If it gives you an option to "Join Google+", but does not allow you to actually register, wait up to 24-48 hours. Even though Joe invited me, I had to wait for my invite to be activated. THAT part does not depend on anyone but Google.

Thanks for the invite Joe =)
I signed up with my google account which is on my earthlink email. You don't need a gmail account, just a google account.

I got sent an invite by a member that will remain unnamed but it still is giving me a 404, perhaps the invite is broken? If anyone can send me another invite my Google account is dan@qsdconsulting.com
