Very very poor, he's only 24 and he only joined the big side recently. This is so sad and really makes me want to take a break from football. I think he will be back, but his career will change just like Alan smith and Cisse's did. After this he'll have a mental block, he probably will be scared to go for challenges for a long time or even forever. I just can't imagine how much pain he's going through, I wish him luck!
And Josh, you must be gutted that you guys gave a penalty in the 93rd minute.

I don't mean to be the pessimist, and I know the body is a wonderful creation, but that is a truly awful injury for any one to suffer, let alone overcome.
I saw a video on YouTube where it said: "He'll be back!". I thought, "Don't bank on it". Then again though, you never know! Who could possibly say one way or the other at this stage.

Alan Smith came back from a pretty similar injury only last season, and he's done alright since.
Don't mean to be insensitive, but he plays for Arsenal. You get what you deserve.

As for that injury - that was mad.

Makes me feel sick when you think of the injury. Pretty bad Im an Arsenal fan too and I hope he gets better soon.
There is a tiny part of me that says, thats way to bad to fully recover, but as someone said, Alan Smith is ok now Not as good but ok...

Cool, I was in Block 26 stuck with the birmingham fans....I'm an Arsenal fan so I had to pretend to celebrate when b'ham scored that penalty, even though I was incredibly ****ed off. What the hell was Clichy doing?!

I was watching the match and I just cringed when it happened, I didn't see it until Match of the day last night as they wouldn't show a recap during the game.
The Arsenal captain is a little kid though, crying at the end of the match and just his general attitude, he shows no example how to play. What a prat.

I think a lot of emotions must have been running through all of the players' and staffs' heads. Gallas reacted totally out of character, as did Wenger. And I'm sure a lot of other players felt like doing and saying exactly the same. Seeing one of your friends have their leg crushed can't be the nicest of experiences, especially when you have to play 90 minutes of football after it and not go and see how he's doing.

Gallas is a turd, He's been at Arsenal about a year? Fabregas should lead the way.
