For sheer manpower, I say China, because it said Military, if we went by Nukes, I'd say America. When I think of a war, i think of ground level fighting, not nuclear combat. For some reason, Nuclear threats seem like its a "Who's got the Biggest Penis Game" except for Israel, they are the only country I could see using them in the near future.

I voted China based on manpower, if the nuke didn't exist they'd have the edge. I'd like for someone to point out a war that the US won alone, and no nukes were used in.

There are way too many factors to say who would win over who, take Vietnam for example, not only was it the intricate bunker systems but it was mainly the terrain. Manpower didn't win the war, the region fought a lot of the battle. Factors like terrain, manpower, technology and even strategy and morale have a big impact.

Would need more of a precise situation to give a proper vote.

Manpower don't mean squat. Remember the whole Jewish episode? Weren't the Jews heavily out numbered, yet they still killed everybody? I'm 100% confident in the way the US trains our soldiers, and if no nukes were involved, I still think the US would be stronger.

Can't answer it really, I don't think any one country is the main powerhouse, especially when different countries / regions have the biggest air / land / sea forces.

USA, both iraq wars have shown that our weapons are vastly superior to the Russians, if I recall china largely uses Russian weaponry. Plus we have more nukes.
