  Old  My Logo

Hey,

I was working on creating a logo (which I am no good at) and came up with this. Tell me what you think (how it could be improve, do you like it?, ect.) and if it's not too simple. It has been shrunken down a lot.

Thanks to all those who lend a helping hand.

Regards,
Remix

The qm portion could have better effects to make it cleaner and more professional. Right now the embossed/gel look doesn't seem to fit the professional look of it. Most good logos never use emboss styles.

Patrick

Whilst i agree with Patricks point i feel you have used the effect in such a way it actually brings out the best of the text. The colours contrast each other well and the font used for "Pointe Media" fits perfectly. I like it, good job. It's when drop shadows start being used things become a little ugly

I think a nice, less obtrusive bevel (lighter red maybe 1 pixel) would really help it stand out while maintaining the crisp look. Also an outer glow of black really light with some spread really makes it appear more realistic.. Don't know why but it does :-|

Patrick
