  Old  First Time Buyer Situation

I've been buying and selling websites/designs/domains for a while now, and have built up reputation on various forums. I recently sold a site of mine for $380, and provided the buyer with all the details to make payment, and asked for details such as his NameCheap username to push the domain to.

He then replies, saying that he needs assurance on whether he'd receive his website or not.

Fair enough, not many you can trust on the net - so I forwarded him my iTrader profile on DigitalPoint.

He's still unsure and needs assurance and claims that my PayPal account isn't verified (when it is, and has 45 trading points or whatever you call it).

Do you think he's just a nervous first-time buyer? Because this does sound a little fishy even when all these proofs are given (and he himself only has one post on SitePoint).

Thanks for the advice Slav. He stalled 3 extra days which caused problems, but paid in the end, and the transaction is complete.

You could consider using an escrow service for situations like this in future. The buyer may be willing to cover the cost of the service for the added security.
