Most books don't supply the information that I'm seeking. I have about 6 photoshop books, mostly authored by Scott Kelby, and nothing is really in there for what I want. I have a Dummies book also for it... and no help...

Many people today like to have little hobbies and money makers on the side. Obviously you feel differently. Please keep comments like that to yourself because you will only end up making the other party unhappy.

To x3knet: Just practice, practice, and practice. Develop a technique for yourself. If you have a hard time starting out, read up on some internet tutorials or like robson said, just copy. Copy from other people's portfolio and try and get all the details that they have. This will teach you how to apply that into your own design.
