Old  Site5, service down the pan!

Argh, another rant for today!

Site5 who i've had many problems with in the past have just ticked me off, again. They introduced new plans and never informed me via e-mail, i've been paying over $10 more than I should have for several months...apparently it's MY responsibility to downgrade! Not to mention all the plans have new names and it's all very confuesing.....

Secondly, i've waited nearly 3 hours for a response to a support ticket, and my post on their forum has been removed....shocking.

Site5 is too complicated to begin with. They have codenames for everything! The renaming/skinning of common features is just too much of a pain to try and decipher.

I moved to a private dedicated a few weeks ago but when I was on shared hosting, I had a reseller account with ResellerZoom.com; no complaints.

the (freelance) world as I know it is crashing arouond me as I know it.

I am losing faith in the internet daily.

EDIT: I just went to their site and saw "SUPER HOSTING XTREME" and nearly **** my pants laughing.

I've heard so many bad reviews about site5 and experience their sites being down for days. I'll definitely be staying away (even thought their features do tempt me)

Site5 oversells and has become too commercial, causing an overload on it's servers. They're pretty bad now.

Dang, I was going to go with them the next time I needed hosting (I mean, how can I resist 11 GB webspace + 400 GB bandwidth for less than $10 a month?) but I guess not now. Thanks for the heads up.

Their uptime is pretty bad and a lot of times, the sites load incredibly slow. I wouldn't recommend Site5 to anyone.
