All I know is that if I had a website worth an amount like this I wouldn't care if that website was Facebook or Google or MSN - 750 mil is a pretty nice offer for any business, at just measely half a percent a year in a savings account thats 3,750,000 in pure profit, why would you ask for any more?

750 millions would set you for life, thats all I would need.

You never know - you could wake up one morning an your site could be worth nothing. The internet isn't that safe of a place to be rejecting 750 million

Why would you sell it for 3/4 of a year's revenue when if they waited another year they'd earn over what they would have sold it for.

You could live on 1 million through interest alone. I wouldn't even need that amount of money....and someone running a site for "fun"? It's all about the dollar.
