  Old  Domain appraisals

I think it'd be a good idea for a 'domainer' - or someone with a fair bit of knowledge about the domain name market - to write a 'self-appraisal' sticky, or a FAQ about the value of domains.

Most domains posted for appraisal are worth reg fee; usually due to the fact they're just [keyword][random word].

I think this would really cut down on the number of appraisal threads.

I think that'd be hard though as you can't just generalise the value of a domain through a set of guidelines. It may give people a slight indication of how valuable a domain name but it wouldn't be accurate.
