Pornographers would not easily give up their established .COMs.

I don't think it will take off either.

It will be impossible to make every porn site to use .xxx

they tried years ago for a .porn extention but it wasnt approved. Now they just screwed up there are over 1 billion porn sites useing .com now and not many with abbandone the .com names. IMO .porn is much better or even .x

Hmmm.. mbx5nitro, .x seems a pretty decent-er domain name, as its tiny and compact... lol in a few years there will probably be a .a, .b, .c, .d, .e, ect... domain extension.

lol.
I just remember when my friend and I started a adult site in our free time they were thinking about the .porn thing. we were like sweet we can get a awesome name but it didnt happen. We sold the site last year because we started with the basic plan this company has with 185g's of BW and within 6 months me were going over that and just couldnt afford the plan we needed so we bought the plan and sold the site. That was the best deal we got in a long time.

Thats frightening. Anyway, yes in theory its a good idea, but like Robson said earlier its just too late. If they had come out with this earlier it would have been good - but still not great. I couldn't see a site with '.xxx' doing as well as a '.com' would, simply because the companies could get away with more on a '.com'.
