My profiler reports that images/form-bg takes 13.95 seconds to load, other than that everything looks OK time wise considering how many images you have there. I would go easier on the images overall, there are a lot on that page.

The profiler I am using is the web developer extension for firefox.

Not sure that is a programming issue you are having. It is most likely caused by the load your site is placing on a web server. How much traffic does your site receive and what kind of environment is it hosted on (shared, VPS, dedicated, etc)?

I must say for me it loaded pretty quickly. There is quite a lot of javascript as the ext-base.js and ext-all.js files are reasonably big. The amount seems overkill for something that could be implemented relatively easy with a smaller library. Try minifying the javascript files to make them smaller.

Almost all libraries have minified versions, a quick Google search will reveal a number of free tools to do it for your own JS files.

Have a look at Page Speed:

"Page Speed is an open-source C++ SDK, and a browser extension available for Chrome and Firefox. Webmasters and web developers can use Page Speed to evaluate the performance of their web pages and to get suggestions on how to improve them. "
http://code.google.com/p/page-speed/

Haven't tried it myself but saw it was recommended by the Google Webmaster service.

Did you try switching servers? It normally is the reason for such problems.
