Using an ipod as a hardrive ?
I want to get all of my music from my computer and put it on my laptop. I havent got a hardrive, or anything that is big enough to transfer my music, but i have a 60GB ipod. I was woundering if you can use an ipod as a hardrive, if so could you tell me how to.
Thanks JRM

Take the music from your computer to your ipod, then from your ipod to your laptop...

I use mine as a hard drive all the time. Gets me through life, I couldn't live without it.
It's simple. You just plug it in, then go to my computer. Your iPod will appear as an external drive. Just drag and drop and you're good to go.

Thats interesting. I had to purchase Anapod Explorer to do this. I have the 30GB Black and it doesn't allow me to do that without the third party plugin

You can't copy music from 1 PC to another, when you plug it in it won't allow you to add/ take songs until you format your ipod

Only if "Disk Mode" is enabled for your iPod™ in iTunes™
