Work Requested vs. Work Offered
In the freelance marketplace section, the types of posts - "work requested" and "work offered" - seem confusing to me. For example, "work offered" could signify an employer offering work OR a worker offering his/her labor. "Work requested" could mean an employer requesting work be done OR a worker requesting work to do. Perhaps it's just me, but this seems somewhat confusing. I suggest switching this vague lingo for a more definite type such as "Employer" and "Employee". Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore me.
Thanks,
Ken

I think it's fine, it could mean more than one thing, but overall, both ways are basically the same (offering work to be done and offering your services). I don't see much of a problem with it.

Well, excuse me for trying to bring about a small improvement to this community. If you want to ignore me, again, feel free to do so, but please don't post just to be mean. That's rude.
Andrew R, could you elaborate a bit, are you suggesting that it doesn't quite matter since they do indeed imply the same thing?
Thanks

Not needed James...
Anyway, I don't think we need to separate them because the marketplace just isn't large enough to split into two at this point. Also, if you look under the posts, you can see all the basic information you need. For the time being, I don't think its a good idea, but when the forum grows bigger it will be needed.

Right, but I'm not really talking splitting the marketplace, just using different, more clear, labels for the individual posts.
