Is anyone available to assist with making the right decision as to what Content Management System to use, or perhaps I should consider having something built tailored to my requirements? What should I be taking into consideration when choosing the right system?

Regards,

Matt.

The question is, what exactly do you want to do?
If you want to create a blog...then use wordpress
for a smaller content site also use wordpress.

For a larger site you should consider using joomla.

I've recently started to learn wordpress... It'll take time before I try another CMS like joomla. I'm already getting comfortable with wordpress though.

I think Wordpress is quite possibly the most popular CMS used almost exclusively for blogging. One of the best features of Wordpress - especially for those just starting out with websites and blogs is the template system, which includes widgets that can be rearranged without editing PHP or HTML code, as well as themes that can be installed and switched between .

It depends on what type of website you're working with. Personally, I flow around blogs, and I have never used anything besides WordPress. I just love it so much.
