Wow, no ones really bringing in alot. You guys must be looking in the wrong places. I do a small design business and only service local customers. The thing is none of them know anything about computers so they are willing to pay to get someone to take care of every aspect of their websites. This is the first month I've been doing this and have allready brought in $1500.

To get the customers just get a business card out, give them to everyone and you'd be suprised how many people it can actually reach.

I need to make a business card and advertise in my local newspaper to get clients... I'll probably be doing that soon... There are a lot of junkies in my school who don't know what <B> means. And most of their work is in MS Paint. So me thinks me going to start sending out business cards real soon .

BINGO!

There's a print shop in the mall I work at. I'll take the .PSD there and just let them print like 398746238904623748062378462378423967 out or something.

well i just started doing freelance and i dont have like a set income or anything. i sold a couple of templates for like $15 each and did some coding and custom work. i got like $275 in my paypal at the moment. made like $200 of it the past month. but im only 15 so i guess i got a lot of time to improve and learn more.

btw im just curious, how much do web designers that work at firms get paid. or monthly or yearly pay.

It all depends for what firm you work at. Some of them set a percentage of what you got for working on a project. For example: for a project, they may say you get 30% for the design work and someone else gets 30% for the coding and so on.
