  Old  Macromedia 8

Just wondering if anyone has the new Macromedia yet? I just got an email from them to say it's out and was wondering if I should upgrade my Studio MX?

Stephen,

Yeah I've used it, I guess it's nice. It's got new code collapsing which is nice when you've finished a section and want to collapse it. The real people they are targetting are people who want to start using more pure-css in their designs. I like the guides so you can measure/align your design just like in Photoshop. The new CSS panels are great, definetely improved. However there are features I won't ever understand, like the Zoom tool... Maybe I just have a big enough monitor that I don't ever see why someone would need it.

Oh and soemthing I love, it has a built-in comparing program Which I'm sure will be used many times by myself for comparing versions of PHP scripts I've written.

New Features: http://www.macromedia.com/software/d...info/features/

Regards,
Patrck

Sorry about putting it in the wrong section.

Yeah I've heard it's great for the css stuff. £299 is just a little too pricey for me right now!
