End nears for Mac version of IE

Microsoft has advised Mac users of Internet Explorer (IE) to switch to rival browsers such as Apple's Safari.

Looks like the end of IE for Mac, wonder why they have stopped development on it? Seems a little strange.

Thoughts?

they stopped development on it back in 2003. I guess when the Safari beta came out they realised they didn't have a chance.

2 right they dont stand a chnace, Tiger rocks.

I never used IE on a windows anyway, i tended to use FF more, so no worries for me im affraid.

Here we go with windows live messenger, lets see this developed for mac!

The web will be a better place when their is a thread that says 'End nears for Windows version of IE'
