Phoenix Zero is on a distinguished road

Old  Beginning to learn ASP.NET - what should I know?

I decided I wanted to learn ASP.NET to create dynamic pages. I know it won't be easy, but I'm dedicated to do it.
  • Is there anything I need to know?
  • What do I need to have?
  • What do I need to install?
  • Do I need a server to practice my code on?
  • How long does it take to learn the basics?
  • What are some good tutorials? I am currently reading W3Schools' tutorial on it. Are there any others?
  • Are there "plug-ins" that can help shorten the writing of the code?
  • How does Adobe Dreamweaver CS3/CS4 do with ASP.NET because that's what I'm going to be using?
  • Which is better? ASP.NET VB or ASP.NET C#?
That's all for now. Feel free to throw ANY additional information in there, anything will help.

Thank you SO MUCH for whoever answers these questions.
