I would suggest working on depth (negative / positive space), lighting, focus, and the overall effects. Read some tutorials, get inspiration, and experiment with Photoshop. Graphical forum signatures have "evolved" recently, and no longer follow trends such as grunge. They are leaning more towards small canvas abstract art. Ones made with downloaded brushes and simple blending skills are no longer up to par. Very nice start, though; my first batch of signatures were much worse than those. Keep it up!

Ehhh, just got back into it couple months ago, because i didnt have a comp for about a year. This one is my personal favorite.
