Tournament on March 16th! Huge payouts!

Tournament Information
Who: First 16 teams to register before deadline.
What: Gears of War MLG 4v4
When:

• Registrion Ends: March 16th, 2007 (Friday)
• Schedules Announced: March 17th, 2007 (Saturday)
• Games Start: March 17th, 2007 (Saturday)

Time:

• Each Game Begins: 7:30 EST // 4:30 WST // 6:30 CEN

Cost: $16 a team // $4 a player
Location: Xbox Live
Extra Info: Brackets will be set up randomly. You are then obligated to send your opponent team a friends request.
Prizes: Each team will receive a Signature showing their placing, and the following cash. (Based of 16 teams)

* 1st Place: $120
* 2nd Place: $84


Hosting Information:
The lower team in the bracket hosts first two maps. The higher team then hosts the next two maps. The tiebracker will be determined by which team wins the most rounds. If it is a tie the higher team in the bracket will host the last map. The lower ranked team chooses the first map, and the map choices alternate from there.

General Rules:
1. No use of the Invisible Man glitch
2. No use of the Invisible Weapon glitch
3. No use of the Chainsaw Yourself glitch
4. No use of the Infinite Grenade glitch
5. No use of the Floating glitch
6. No walking inside walls
7. No shooting while roadie running
8. No leaving the normal boundaries of a level
9. Breaking any rule will result in a forfeit of the game

3. Number of Rounds = 5
4. Bleed-Out Duration = 30
5. Round Duration = 5
6. Friendly Fire = Yes
7. Weapons Swapped = Yes
8. Replace Hammer of Dawn with Boomshot
9. Long Jump/Weapon Slide = Allowed

120$ or 120k$? Depends on what "HUGE PAYOUTS" means to you .

$120 per player or $120 total? cause $120 divided by 4 is only $30. $30 dollars doesn't sound too huge to me.

investing $4 to enter a tournament to play your favorite game and turn that into $30 is a lot compared to other gow tournies ive seen

lol.. $30 is huge? Doubt you'll get many (decent) teams entering for $30 each for 1st place.

Well, we're giving away $50 per player on a 2v2, plus XBL cameras, each valued at $30. And, registration was free. So, huge is definitely relative here.
