  Old  ebook sharing

Hello There,

I am developing a ebook sharing website at http://sidebill.com/beta/

Just wanted to know what kind of legalities I should expect.

I am not hosting any ebooks in my servers.

Thanks

My understanding is that sharing commercial ebooks is illegal? Hence why it thrives on warez type forums.

Correct me if I am wrong though.

Well, it is just like sharing software, so yes, it is illegal. If the eBook is for sale, and it is being distributed for free on another website, it would be classed as a type of warez.
