Update: $300 Giveaway competition - Referrals

Ok - from results so far it looks like someone is going to get some very easy cash!!

With regard to the referrals here are the results so far:

Blaze - 1 referral : -> Shade (12 Posts)
Digit - 1 referral : -> JacobJXTh (0 Posts)
Garrett - 1 referral : -> Mladen Nikitovic (0 Posts)
Andreas - 1 referral : -> NLChris (12 Posts)

So so far only 2 people even qualify (based on the 10 post rule)!!

So come on guy surely you are not going to let one of these guys walk away with all the cash for a meazly 1 referral!!!

Come on, get your friends involved in TF, you must know some good posters on other forums, put your referral link to the competition, send it out in a newsletter, put a link on your website. The possibilities are endless and its not going to be hard to beat the current contendors!!

The Competition ends the 1st of May so there is still loads of time for you to make a go of it.

well, i saw the rule about the referer... The member must have send over 10 messages .. remember that.. as far as i can see 2 havnt even posted yet. which doesnt count in the competition.

Im not looking to win the competition, im looking for friends, and for help at this site, thats the only reason im here, and i guess thats the only reason blaze told me about it, cause i asked him for help at that time.

I've tried referring people but i don't really know anyone who would want to join up (most of my friends aren't into this kind of thing) and i don't know anyone from others forums, and i can't go round sending pms to everyone on sitepoint or anything like that because its classed as advertising, so meh ... i don't know.

I got the same problem, but i really don't care. If i won i wouldnt take the money. i got enough already. money isnt everythings tho but if i got sponsored a domain i would accept it. cause i can use a website in a long time... $50 won't last long

Here is a really simple way which will not break other forum rules - just look at my sig below and do something like this in your sig on other forums - simple, easy to do and supprisingly effective!!
