Old  Suckerfish repositioning 2nd and 3rd level flyouts to stay above screen bottom

Hi

I have a flyout menu (not actually Suckerfish but very similar). It has a javascript to reposition a 2nd or 3rd level flyout so it can never go below the bottom of the screen, but it only works in FF. Stu Nicholls (the css menu guy) is of the opinion that the script I am using is over-complex and that a solution for all browsers would be possible. The script I am using works in FF for my own menu, Stu Nicholls, and Suckerfish:

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of such a script? I would have thought it would be something that many menu users would like to have available, when menus contain quite a few options.

Best wishes and thanks

Tony
