Event, scrollfunction

Hi!

I want to make an event-list. A little like this:

--2009--
---January---
Event 1
Event 2
---February---
Event 3
Event 4 and so on

I want this in a div with set dimensions, and so having a scrollbar on the right.
On the top I want buttons for scrolling to next/previous month.
How can I do this?

And second question: Can I set the place to scroll to on pageload?
