You definitely need more content, so I suggest posting up a lot of useful topics. After that, just promote. No one wants to join a forum with no content.

Why would anyone want to post there? That's what you need to ask your self because right now the answer is they wouldn't. Give them a reason to post.

Copy stuff from Yahoo Answers, or get some Indians to do it for you. Cheap service, but it will get the log rolling for you..

To be honest Justin, although it sometimes happen, but not regularly. Most Indian webmaster's earn alot of money and I consider that to be quite a racist remark, although I'm not Indian.

Now back to the OP:
You have to post content, your forum has about 1 post, try expanding post's and target a certain crowd, tell friends to signup and pass it on to other friends!

Okay so you think that to get a community active you need to get Indians who copy and paste content from yahoo answers? Idiot.

Anyway, I think you should consider getting a redesign if you have the funds for it, it would make a massive difference, a new visitors first impression of a site is really important. Then maybe get a forum population service for a bit, and heavily promote your site, with the aim of getting enough members to keep the forum going after the forum population service goes. Then you just have to work on keeping them and building on the forum you have.

Give people a reason to visit and post. The forum doesn't need to be controversial, but it does need to be meaty enough for people to want to jump into discussions.

First of all you will need a lot of more content then what you have. You need some unique content that members can't find anywhere else. That will be one of the biggest reasons why people will join your forum... for the unique content you provide. You will also need to create more forums for members to post in. Those for forums you have aren't enough.

I think to build a community, really need alot of effort. Your domain is ok, just the content of it!~ yeah, content is very important. Original content is the most important thign!
