User Accounts on Same IP?

Hello Talk Freelance.

I was wondering if it will be "okay" to have another user account on the same IP address as mine. The reason I am asking this is because my girlfriend would like to register here - she is always at my house (she basically lives with me) and thus uses my computer and we share the same IP as we share the same computer - but I do not want to be penalized for having "multiple user accounts".

I just wanted to give the staff here the heads up and assure that nothing fishy is going on. She is a designer - I can't design for my life; I am here to find designers, ironically she is going to be here to learn how to design [better] and possibly do designs for clients that she can handle.

I hope that my girlfriend will be allowed to register here and we can be on the same IP and same computer with no issues. If you want, she can use a proxy for her account, but this would make things very difficult.

Please give me the "okay" so that she can register here. I am a legit, honest, and reputable member here and at many other forums. I have been trying to refer a lot of people here like a mad man lately. Anyway, if you cannot see my integrity and intentions through my post count, registration date, and iTrader rating, here are some of my user profiles at other popular [reputable] webmaster forums:

I can't see where in the rules that it says you aren't allowed 2 accounts per IP, you just aren't allowed more than 1 account per person...

Yeah, but the mod's might think he's using 2 account's to himself and not one for his girlfriend.

It might be better to PM/email one of the admins (Jeff) about this, if only to get a faster response. The rules are only one account per person so one each for yourself and your girlfriend shouldn't be met with any opposition.

Been off configuring my new macbook and hadn't had a chance to come on here and check things out.

In response to your question about the multiple accounts on an IP, as long as it is in fact two different people than it's fine. If we find suspicious activity, I will be banning both accounts permanently.
